Next for Kept · rolling out to the founding beta

Some of your list shouldn’t need you.

Kept already files what you say. Next, it starts finishing things · small, well-defined work handed to agents on your behalf. Kept decides what’s safe to hand off, proposes it first, and keeps a receipt for everything. You keep the judgment calls.

How it decides

Your day, sorted into three lanes

Not everything deserves your attention, and not everything should be automated. Kept reads each item · how clear it is, what it touches, who it affects · and sorts it. You can move anything between lanes, and your pick teaches it.

Lane oneYours to do

Judgment, craft, and people. The decisions, the hard conversations, the deep work. Kept protects time for these · it never touches them.

Lane twoDrafted for you

Anything that speaks to another person. Kept writes it from what you actually said and decided · then waits. You review, you send.

Lane threeDone for you

Small, well-defined, reversible work · the reschedules, the filing, the chasing. Kept does it quietly and shows you the receipt.

What gets handed off first

The small stuff that eats your week

Agents don’t start with your life’s work. They start with the twenty-minute chores that were never worth you.

Done for youThe reschedule

“Move the dentist to next week” becomes the new appointment, the calendar update, and the confirmation · handled.

Done for youThe meeting brief

Before the 2pm, Kept assembles what you said, promised, and noted about Dana · so you walk in already caught up.

Drafted · you sendThe follow-up

The reply to Sam is written from what you actually decided · waiting in your voice, one tap from sent.

Done for youThe chase

Two RSVPs missing for Saturday · Kept nudges, tracks who answered, and tells you when it's settled.

Done for youThe filing

Receipts, confirmations, and the note from the walk all land where they belong · already true today, quieter tomorrow.

Yours · alwaysThe judgment calls

Pricing decisions, hard conversations, calling your mom. Kept clears the small stuff so these get your best hours.

Trust is the product

Five rules it never breaks

An agent you can’t check is a liability with a nice interface. Kept’s agents are built to be checked.

1It proposes before it acts.

New kinds of work always start as a proposal with a preview. Nothing surprises you, ever.

2It shows its work.

Every action explains itself · what it read, what it decided, why. Tap the reasoning to correct it.

3Everything has undo.

Agent work is reversible by design. One tap puts things back the way they were.

4Every action leaves a receipt.

A quiet, complete log of what was done on your behalf · so trust is something you can verify, not something you have to extend.

5Permissions are yours, per source.

Calendar, mail, notes · each is granted separately, work and personal split, and private by default. Your words never train anyone’s models.

Autonomy is earned, not assumed. Kept starts by proposing everything. Each handoff you confirm widens what it may quietly do · and you can narrow it again in one tap.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Will Kept act without asking?

Only where you've said it may. Everything starts as a proposal you approve. A kind of action earns quiet mode only after you've confirmed it enough times · and one tap pulls it back to propose-first, any time.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You undo it. Every agent action is reversible, and every one leaves a receipt: what was done, when, and why. Corrections teach the system, so the same mistake gets rarer.

Will it send emails or messages as me?

It drafts; you send. Anything that goes to another person waits for your approval · and that line doesn't move unless you move it.

Is my data used to train models?

No. Private by default: capture works on-device first, your words stay yours, and nothing you write trains anyone's models.

When does this ship?

Agents roll out to the founding beta first, on iPhone and Mac. Join the waitlist and you're in line for the first wave.
