A year of Premium with a school email

A semester is too big to do.
Kept hands you today.

Put the syllabus, the deadlines, and the reading in one place. Every morning Kept names the three things that move the grade, and says why each one is there.

Kept is free today. Your year of Premium starts the day Pro does.

Goals

The goal is an A. The work is Tuesday at four.

Write the goal once. Link the problem sets, the lab reports, and the reading to it, and it stops being a sentence you re-read. Kept keeps one next move on every goal, drawn from the work you actually put there, and counts what you finish against it.

  • Get an A in Organic Chemistry

NextProblem set 4, the two mechanisms

  • Finish the thesis draft by April

NextOutline chapter 2 from the reading notes

  • Read 30 pages a day

    NextDurkheim, pages 88 to 118

  • Graduate without the 3am

NextMove Friday's lab report to Wednesday

Nothing counts toward a goal until you link it. Kept will not decide that a lecture was progress.

Notes

Notes that survive the term

Lectures, readings, and the half-thought you had on the walk home go in the same editor. Press / on any line for a heading, a to-do, a table, a quote, or code. Every day gets its own note without you making one.

A checkbox you write in a lecture note is a real task: it shows up in Tasks, and checking it in either place checks it in both. In March you can search by meaning, not by remembering which file you called it.

  • Daily noteOne page per day, already there
  • Folders and tagsOne note, as many lenses as you need

Three things, not thirty

Kept reads your due dates, your calendar, and the goals you set, then puts three tasks on top. Each one carries the reason it is there, in your own words. Start a 25 or 45 minute session on any of them and the time lands on your record.

The school address

What you get, stated plainly

  • Everything Kept does today, free. There is no paid tier yet. Notes, tasks, calendars, goals, habits, and focus are all open to everyone.
  • A year of Premium, held. When Kept Pro launches, your first twelve months are on us. The year starts then, not the day you claim it.
  • iPhone and Mac, one account. Write a note in a lecture, finish it at your desk.
  • Your work leaves whenever you want. Export any note, delete the account and everything in it, in one step.

Claim with the address your school gave you. It is held against that address, and it follows you the first time you sign in with it.

Bring the syllabus.

macOS 26 or later. Kept for iPhone is on the App Store.
