Bring your Notion into Kept
Connect Notion once and your task lists become Kept tasks and your pages become notes in a Notion folder. It runs on Kept's servers, so you never wait on it, and Kept tells you when it is done.
Connect Notion once and Kept moves your pages and task lists over. The work happens on Kept's servers, not on your phone, so you can close the app the moment Notion hands you back.
Notion appears in Settings only while Import from Notion is available: if you don't see it under Settings → Connections on iPhone or in the Import card on Mac, it isn't available yet.
Start an import
- On iPhone, tap your avatar, then Settings → Connections → Notion. On Mac, open Settings and find the Import card, with Notion as its first row.
- Tap Connect Notion. Notion opens its own page where you choose which pages Kept may read. Kept only ever asks Notion for read access.
- Choose the pages and task lists to bring, then allow. Backing out at Notion is silent and changes nothing.
- Back in Kept, you see Notion is on its way. Keep going. Kept tells you when everything is in.
Imports take a few minutes. A very large workspace, thousands of pages, can take longer, because Notion lets any app read only a few pages a second. Tasks come across first, usually within seconds, and notes follow.
If notifications are on, a notification says Your Notion is in Kept with what came across. On iPhone, tapping it opens the Notion folder in Notes, or Tasks when only tasks came over. On Mac, a note at the foot of the window says the same while Kept is open. Either way, the Notion row in Settings always shows where it is.

To-dos inside a Notion page stay as checkboxes in the note. They do not become separate tasks, so a long page of checklists does not flood Today.
Not in this version: comments, people mentions, and keeping Notion and Kept in sync after the import.
While it runs
The Notion row in Settings shows what is happening: Finding your pages with a count that rises, then Bringing your notes with a progress bar of pages done out of pages found.
Stop import ends the run. Everything that already arrived stays in Kept. Starting again means connecting Notion again.
Import again
Import again brings over what changed. It never makes duplicates:
- A page that has not changed in Notion is skipped.
- A page that changed in Notion updates its note in Kept, as long as you have not edited that note in Kept.
- A note or task you edited in Kept is never overwritten, on this import or any later one. Your edit wins. A note you deleted in Kept is not brought back.
Your data
Kept reads only the pages you chose at Notion. The connection is used for this import and then deleted: when the run ends, for any reason, including when you stop it, Kept asks Notion to revoke the access and deletes its copy. Only the Kept app you started the import from can start it: if someone else sends you a Notion link from their Kept, approving it imports nothing into their account. You can also remove Kept from Settings → Connections inside Notion at any time.
Imported notes are ordinary notes. If Cloud AI is on, Kept organizes and links them the same way it does your own notes, later and in the background. If Cloud AI is off, they stay exactly as they arrived.
If something goes wrong
- Notion connected, but no pages were shared with Kept. You allowed access without choosing pages. Tap Choose pages and pick them this time.
- Notion stopped responding. Notion refused or timed out. What arrived stays; try again in a few minutes to bring the rest.
- Some pages didn't come across. A page was unshared or could not be read. Import again to retry them; nothing is duplicated.
